An evening bike ride down Cecilienallee and an impressive overtaking maneuver by a large flock of Ring-necked Parakeets became the inspiration for this hat. The green and yellow flying artists, actually native to Africa and Asia, have been living in Düsseldorf with a stable population of around 1000 animals since the 1980s. Fast, colorful and a little bit subversive - it's no wonder that we like the colorful migrants. Our homage to Düsseldorf - only real with a bird shit printed on the peak of the cap.
