When we announced last year that we would like to collect five Buffalo bikes for Africa as part of the Tour Du Faso demonstration, we thought we were optimistic but not unrealistic. Thanks to big donation trousers from our invited guests and active support from donors such as Philipp Hympendahl and Ulrich Hoffmann, eleven bikes came together on the evening in December, which was increased to twenty-two bikes through a special Christmas campaign by the SRAM founder. A result that made us proud and the German World Bicycle Relief representative Lena Kleine-Kalmer happy. Above all, because of our marketing activities, Düsseldorf and the surrounding area also shone with further donations in the time after our campaign.

This year Lena was on the road in Africa for a long time, looked at what happened to your bikes, took pictures, collected impressions and returned full of good ideas. And we just want to spend a nice evening with you, to let Lena tell us in words and pictures what she experienced in Africa. Of course we are speculating that you will all pocket a few euros to realize more bikes for Africa, but we are also convinced that after Lena's stories we all want to fill the collection box.
