Eurobike 2024 – And what’s it like for you?

Eurobike 2024 – Und wie sieht es bei euch so aus?

Eurobike invited people to Frankfurt for the third time, and we were there for the third time. While times are stormy, and not just in the bike industry, there is a positive mood within our community, which, like us, is very interested in special bikes and selected accessories. Gravel bikes and racing bikes are becoming more and more popular, cargo bikes and folding bikes are sexy, and sport and mobility change are increasingly going hand in hand.

Almost 90 of the 1900 exhibitors landed on our ambitious “That’s where we want to go” list in advance, on the one hand to satisfy our curiosity about new products and ideas, and on the other hand to meet our partners, who we are rarely able to welcome in the shop during our day-to-day business because time is too short or the distance is too great.

In the end, too many boxes on our wish list were left unchecked, some exhibitors were only touched upon, but the halls are large and full, so the distances are long and some conversations lasted longer than planned, much to our delight. Two days always go by quicker than you think at an exciting trade fair.

But our network has grown again. Events such as the Women in Cycling Breakfast, Gunnar Fehlau's Graveltalk, the riding style trend lounge or the great get-together hosted by Jon and Bregan at the African Queen bring together people with an increased enthusiasm for cycling, for whom the economic framework is important but not the driving force behind their actions.

We're not in it for the money, we're in it because we love it.

We would have to list many more names and brands here, but we will name a few to represent two days with many steps, numerous influences and conversations and endless positive impressions. It was nice to see you: Classified, Ritchey, Paul Lange & Shimano, Schwalbe, Velonauten, Mikalon, Elite, Open Cycle, Cadex, Megamo, Swift, Crank Communication, TwoToneAms, Campagnolo, TRP, Merida, wahoo, Feedback Sports, Lupine, Fidlock, Orbea, Abus, Café Du Cycliste, Zefal, Stans, Cyclingworld, Parlee, Karl von Drais, Brompton, Omnium, Hunt, VAR, Feschd, Grofa, Scope, Quoc, Sports Nut, Lezyne, SRAM, Old Man Mountain, Trickstuff, Fizik, and many more.

See you... hopefully soon.

Kerstin and Carsten
